Hope you’re having a wonderful new week. Today, I’m sharing this stunning African print dress by Gertrude Ross. 💃
If you follow me on Instagram (are you following me? 🤔) you’ve already seen this outfit. I’m a little behind on the blog posts since they take significantly more time to edit the photos, create the blog post content, optimize for the search engine, create unique captions for my newsletter, Facebook etc. So thank you for your patience. 🙂
The African Print fabric as we speak is no longer just any fabric but one of the best fabrics, it’s so unique that you can’t resist its uniqueness when you see it on people and you never go wrong when you rock it yourself. I’ve always had a deep love for African print styles and designers that bring this beauty to the limelight. This African print high-low dress is another sexy number from the same designer who made my wedding guest outfit here. Exaggerated details and clean cuts are features that make Gertrude Ross’s clothing stand out.
This dress is a statement piece that can quickly become a wardrobe staple. Though the designs are in rich African pattern, the fabric itself is silk. For those who want a less obvious way to rock African clothing, this one is for you. And it is also appropriate to be worn to more conservative places/events. Another feature that makes this dress unique is the marriage between contemporary style and understated African print fabric. The style of the dress also makes it a comfortable and breathable for this time of the year.
I completed the look with a black hat, pumps, and clutch to add some sass.
