Happy Wednesday style lovers!
It’s been a while since my last post I know-I’m having laptop issues at the moment; However, I have been posting on my Instagram so if you follow me you already know this, (if you are not following me, PLEASE DO SO ASAP @Mhiss_Nana). I am working really hard to resolve this issue so please bear with me, and in the meantime, today’s post is about one of the riskiest trend in fashion-Print on Print….
As tricky as this trend is, there’s the good news: It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to master the art of mixing and matching. Once you learn a few simple tricks of the trade, you’ll be pairing patterns like an expert in no time-promise; it’s easier than it looks. Practice is all you need, my dear MNS readers. I paired my Ntoma top I wore previously here with an Ntoma trousers I wore here to create my print on print theme.
There is one very important tip to follow while mixing your favorite prints: stay in the same color family. As long as the prints have at least one color in common, you can use contrasting colors. Match colors, not prints. If the colors look good together, then you bet you are on the right path. It’s always fun and cool to create new outfits with bright patterns. It’s the way you look and feel. If they look good together, then I don’t see any reason why you can’t wear it. Hope you enjoy!
