Hey everyone hope you all doing well. Today been the last day in March, we surely do have a lot to be thankful for.
Its all about the African print (Ntoma as its called in my local dialect) today. This is what I had planned on wearing for my presentation but someway somehow I changed my mind at the last minute. Fast forward the next day I still couldn’t get it outta my mind so I wore it to church (though i’m not very comfortable wearing pants to church) and … viola!
Is it not strange that a few years back only our moms and grandmoms had African prints in their wardrobes? and now we; as in the younger generation can’t have enough of it – from, shoes, bags, belts, earrings, even phone pouches, notebooks are being designed with Ntoma. Amazing isn’t it?
Yellow is one of the unique colors of the season but it can be a little overwhelming if not handled correctly, and that’s why I toned it down with the black blazer and clutch(i switched to the bag later to see how that will look too). You remember my louboutin from this post? I can’t thank desire shoes and more enough for hooking me up with these babies, it literally gave life to my outfit!
This is such a strong combo that I didn’t need much in the way of accessories. This style is chic, edgy and bold and that’s all I want in my outfits.
Ntoma pants are incredibly versatile, sewn by a good tailor, it gives you the option to switch up your style and play around with different choices.
Best part about the Ntoma pants- actually there are a few:
• it fits absolutely every body type
• it’s classy & sophisticated
• it can adapt to any occasion & event (work, church, going out, parties, dinners…whatever)
• it’s easy to wear, dress up with a pair of heels or down with a sandals and flats.
Taking these images was so hard….the wind was blowing my hair like crazy
I’m completely in love with this look! What do you think? How would you style it?
Enjoy the weekend lovelies.
